Phil Robertson the Baptizer?

The former star of Duck Dynasty, who is a devout Christian and big celebrity, says fans are coming to him in droves to get baptized.

Phil Robertson seemingly never misses an opportunity to share his faith, either in private settings or in public fora like his TV show In the Woods with Phil or on his Unashamed podcast. That latter endeavor, which he does together with two of his four sons, Al and Jase, is clearly bearing fruit...and a lot of it.

In a visit to another podcast, Edifi with Billy Hallowell, Robertson reveals that listeners of Unashamed continually come to his Louisiana hometown to see him. Many of them have been touched by his sharing of Jesus' Gospel message and want to be baptized, which Phil tells the eponymous host, he is pleased to do.

"They're coming from that podcast...about nine or maybe 10 in the last three days. They've come all the way down here, Billy, and I've baptized that whole little crew. Well it's that way every day or two. They just keep coming."

Wow, what a great story, and Praise God! Phil Robertson is a faithful servant of the Mighty One, who is powerfully using him to advance the Kingdom. It doesn't get much better than that.

Phil also talks about all sorts of other interesting things in this interview, including his new book - Jesus Politics: How to Win Back the Soul of America - his blossoming relationship with his previously long-lost daughter, and how he has shared his faith with President Trump on multiple occasions. In a word, there's loads of good stuff here and Christian Film Blog suggests you listen to the entire podcast, which you can do via this link to the Pure Flix website, which helps host it.
