Alex Kendrick and Stephen Kendrick, both fathers of six children, care deeply about the importance of fatherhood. So much so that the subject has taken center stage in most of their hit movies, including Overcomer, War Room and Courageous.

Show Me the Father, their inaugural documentary, features real-life father stories with prominent Believers like pastor Tony Evans, former NFL star Eddie George and the Kendrick Brothers themselves, as we reported in a previous article in which we shared what they call their heart-of-the-movie trailer. The film will encourage viewers "to think differently about how you view your earthly father, and how you personally relate to God," according to a synopsis on its website.

The documentary debuts on September 10th in theaters nationwide. In the meantime, you can watch the official trailer below to get a feel for what to expect.
