The Hallmark Channel is wasting no time on lining up its programming for Christmas 2023: it's already got its first made-for-TV movie in the can. The picture is entitled A Biltmore Christmas and it finished production last week at the 19th century Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC.

Biltmore House - the 250-room mansion that is the property's centerpiece - serves as the backdrop for this story of time travel and Yuletide romance. Kristoffer Polaha, who is a devout Believer and one of Hallmark's biggest male stars, plays an actor making a movie on the property in the 1940s. His love interest, portrayed by Bethany Joy Lenz, is a screenwriter from the modern world working on a remake of said movie. The two of them are thrown together when she knocks over an hourglass, rocketing her back in time.

In a social media post announcing the end of production, Polaha called it "amazing" and said the audience is "gonna love it." Of course, you'll have to wait awhile for that since A Biltmore Christmas will not come out until the end of the year as part of the Hallmark Channel's annual Countdown to Christmas. The air date has not yet been announced, but Christian Film Blog will let you know once it is.
