When you call yourself the "Queen of Christmas," as Candace Cameron Bure does, this is your time of year. The Hallmark Channel regular will tee up the network's 2020 Christmas movie lineup this Saturday night when she hosts its annual Countdown to Christmas Preview Special.

And, as in years past, she will also star in one of the new movies, If I Only Had Christmas, which airs on November 29th. But the cavalcade of some 40 holiday flicks launches much earlier than that, with the first one running next Saturday, October 24th.

The new movies will play on both the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies and Mysteries, and they will be interspersed with reruns of films from previous years, meaning it will be virtually wall-to-wall Christmas movies for two straight months leading right up to Christmas day. We love Christmas movies and we're even releasing one of our own, but - Wow! - that's a lot.

As we reported earlier, Lacy Chabert and Tamera Mowry-Housley will also star in two of the new movies. So while these Hallmark productions are strictly secular affairs, prominent Christian actresses are well represented.

To get all the details about this year's lineup, you can tune into the Countdown to Christmas Preview Special with Candace Cameron Bure this Saturday, October 17th, at 11:00 PM EDT/10:00 PM CDT on the Hallmark Channel.
