Candace Cameron Bure in Hollywood & True to Faith

The Christian actress has managed a successful career for decades without compromising her relationship with God.

Having started acting at age five, Candace Cameron Bure has been in Hollywood nearly her entire life. Currently a fixture on Hallmark with her Aurora Teagarden Mysteries and annual Christmas movies - yes, she's got another one coming out this year - the 43-year old is also a wife and mother of three, so she keeps plenty busy.

No matter what she's got going on, though, Cameron Bure prioritizes her Christian faith, reading the Bible daily and going to church regularly. In an interview with the Pure Flix Podcast, she says it also has long helped determined her choice of roles.

"My faith is just my life. It's a part of it. It naturally flows from me. And I feel like I've navigated my entire career differently than most people have."

Because of her Christian convictions, she has "said so many more "no's" in my life - as far as my career goes - than "yes's," meaning she's rejected a good many opportunities that didn't jibe with her beliefs. Fortunately for her legions of fans - nearly four million followers on Instagram alone - Cameron Bure still finds plenty of parts to play. She is currently filming the fifth and final season of Fuller House for Netflix and will star in Christmas Town this holiday season on the Hallmark Channel.
