Steve Harvey Goes out with a Bang

The Christian TV host ends his talk show with a tremendous display of generosity.

The Steve show went off the air for the last time at the end of June and did Steve Harvey ever make it a grand finale. He hosted eight recent high school graduates who will now be attending college free of charge thanks to him. Harvey will pay a full four years of tuition - $23,000 apiece per year - for them to attend Ohio's Kent State University, which is his alma mater. All they need to do is maintain a 2.5 grade point average.

God has richly blessed the mustachioed comedian, who also hosts Family Feud, and Harvey, in turn, is very active blessing others via his charity, the Steve & Marjorie Harvey Foundation, which is the vehicle for this act of beneficence. Harvey stated during the segment that he was "overjoyed" to do it and then made sure the young men knew why it happened.

"Because that Almighty God, He's got a plan for you. Because that Almighty God, He sees something in you."

Wow, you've got to love that and we will be praying they take full advantage of this incredible blessing. Back to Harvey, he clearly understands the meaning of storing up his treasure in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy and thieves do not break in and steal, as Jesus teaches in the sixth chapter of the Gospel of Matthew. Well done, Steve Harvey, and may God continue to shower His favor upon you!
