New Trailer for "I Still Believe"

The faith-based film tells the love story of Christian rocker Jeremy Camp and his late wife Melissa.

Britt Robertson and K.J. Apa in a scene from "I Still Believe." Image: Lionsgate/Kingdom Story Company.

I Still Believe is the next picture from the brother duo of Andrew Erwin and Jon Erwin and it is the first from their Kingdom Story Company. That outfit is part of their new deal with Lionsgate and also includes Christian producer Kevin Downes.

But back to the news at hand: this trailer. It is heavy with the emotions of young love arrested by a premature and tragic end, plucking at the heart strings as you would expect for a story like this. K.J. Apa and Britt Robertson play the roles of Jeremy Camp and his girlfriend - then fiancee and wife - Melissa, and they look darn good doing so.

The movie is based on actual events from Camp's life. He, of course, is now a major act on the Christian music scene, so the film should have a solid built-in audience. This is the first movie for the Erwin Brothers since I Can Only Imagine, their huge hit from 2018, and they have assembled a strong cast, with Gary Sinise, country music star Shania Twain and Christian actor Cameron Arnett joining Apa and Robertson.

The picture hits screens nationwide on March 13th. Until then, check out the new trailer below to get a feel for what to expect.
