It's been more than two years since Kathie Lee Gifford stepped away from the Today show to pursue other interests and, wow, has she been busy: writing, directing and acting in films and music videos, writing and singing songs and churning out books.

Her latest creative endeavor is another literary effort entitled The Jesus I Know. It doesn't come out until November, but with pre-sales now underway it's already number one on Amazon among new releases in the Christology category.

A devout Believer, Gifford has long been very outspoken about her Christian faith. According to a synopsis from publisher Thomas Nelson, her book "reveals heartwarming, entertaining conversations between people and personalities who both agree and disagree about who Jesus is." Gifford chats with actors Kristin Chenoweth and Chynna Phillips Baldwin, musicians Jimmy Wayne and Brian Welch, and news personalities Megyn Kelly and Janice Dean, among others.

In a social media post, the author states that though not everyone in the book sees eye-to-eye with her about Jesus as the Savior, there was a point of unanimity.

"...one thing we did agree on was the undeniably magnetic presence of Jesus throughout history. I hope these conversations will bring His teachings to life before your very eyes."

Gifford also intersperses favorite verses from Scripture throughout to serve "as scaffolding," to quote the publisher, for the broader narrative of the book. The Jesus I Know runs 224 pages and will release on November 30th of this year. It costs $18.89 in hardcover, if you buy directly from Thomas Nelson, and you can pre-order now via this link.
