After enduring a miscarriage earlier this year, one of the Duggar couples is celebrating the birth of a daugther.
Lauren and Josiah Duggar, stars of the TLC reality TV show Counting On, are proud parents of Bella Milagro Duggar. She was born on November 8th and tipped the scales at six pounds five ounces and measured 18.5 inches.
The young couple - one of many from the Duggar Family of Arkansas - made the annoucement to the public today via social media, posting pictures on Instagram of themselves with their daughter while they were still in the hospital.
In February of this year, the Duggars received an outpouring of prayers and support after Lauren suffered a miscarriage.
They are, not surprisingly, overjoyed at the birth of Bella. In that post on Instagram, the couple expresses their happiness and gratitude to the Lord for the safe birth of their daughter.
"Our hearts are so full! We are so thankful for God blessing us with such a healthy baby girl!"
Lauren and Josiah Duggar are devout Believers and were very open about the miscarriage of their first child, whom they named Asa. At the time, they explained that discussing it publicly helped in the healing process, with Lauren pointing out it could also "bring hope to a lot of other people that go through this."
