Candace Cameron Bure has been touring this week to promote her new children's book, Grow, Candace, Grow, as we wrote in an earlier article. Her travels took her to Waco, TX today and to the home of fellow Believer and former star of Fixer Upper, Joanna Gaines.

Gaines put out a chidren's book of her own last year - We are the Gardeners - and the two women exchanged autographed copies of their literary endeavors. In a social media post afterwards, Cameron Bure wrote that "it was an absolute pleasure meeting this boss woman."

Joanna and her husband, Chip, pulled the plug on Fixer Upper in 2018 to devote more time to their marriage and family, but they will be launching their own cable TV network - Magnolia - in October of this year. The venture, which is being done in partnership with Discovery, will feature inspirational and encouraging content and at least one reality show focused on a Christian band - Johnnyswim. So it should be a big year for the Gaineses.

Cameron Bure won't be taking it easy either, because in addition to her new book, she is planning to star in seven Hallmark movies in 2020. Wow, it sure is great to see our Christian sisters doing so well! May God continue to bless them both.
