The Christian actor takes to social media with a very pro-life message.
Chris Pratt's wife Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt gave birth on Monday to a baby girl, the couple's first child together. They named her Lyla Maria Schwarzenegger Pratt, her middle names in honor of Katherine's mother, television journalist Maria Shriver, and her father, movie star Arnold Schwarzenegger.
In a post on the Instagram social media platform, Pratt put up a sweet picture of the three of them holding hands. The star of both the Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World movie franchises, stated that he and his wife "are beyond thrilled" and consider themselves to be "extremely blessed."
Pratt is an outspoken Christian and regularly takes advantage of his celebrity status to boldly and publicly proclaim his Christian beliefs, and this occasion was no different. The actor used the social media post to share some Scriptures from the Old Testament of the Bible. One of them - a real gem from Psalm 127:3-4 - is often associated with the pro-life movement and it fits well with Pratts' unapologetic stand on his faith.
"Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one's youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them. He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate."
