The Christian actress likes to call herself the Queen of Christmas and this weekend she is highlighting Hallmark's annual Yuletide lineup.
It's more than a month until Thanksgiving, but Hallmark is already gearing up for its annual 24/7 parade of Christmas movies. Candace Cameron Bure, one of our favorite Christian actresses and a Hallmark fixture, will tee things up tonight. She is hosting the Countdown to Christmas 10th Anniversary Preview Special, and does she ever have a lot to preview.
This year, Hallmark is rolling out 40 new Christmas movies! They will be split between the Hallmark Channel - which debuts 24 films - and sister channel Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, which has 16 new pictures. And they will each also replay dozens and dozens of older ones from Christmases gone by. In tonight's preview, Cameron Bure will present clips from the movies, some behind-the-scenes highlights and interviews with the stars.
She herself, of course will be starring in one of this season's movies - Christmas Town - and she is not the only Christian who will grace the screen this year. Kathie Lee Gifford, Tamera Mowry, Kristoffer Polaha and Dolly Parton are also part of the 2019 lineup.
Cameron Bure's preview show runs on Hallmark Channel tonight at 10 PM EDT/9 CDT. And then tomorrow night, again at 10 PM EDT/9 C, but on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, she will host the Miracles of Christmas Preview Special featuring that channels' new offerings. And by the way, the first movies start running next weekend!
