For the second time in less than a week, audience demand has prompted an extension of the theatrical release of Left Behind: Rise of the Antichrist. Originally planned as a four-day limited engagement, it will now play for two full weeks.

As we previously reported, the film brought in $2.55 million over the weekend and claimed ninth place at the box office, which was enough for distributor Fathom Events to pull the trigger on another extension. Set in a world of chaos after the rapture, this picture stars Christian actors Corbin Bernsen, Neal McDonough and Kevin Sorbo, who also directed it, and is based on the bestselling Left Behind book series, just like the previous four films in the franchise.

Left Behind: Rise of the Antichrist will now run through February 8th, and you can purchase tickets to a theater in your area via this link to Fathom Events' website.
