Among the biggest acts in the Christian Contemporary music genre, Brandon Lake and Phil Wickham are coming to the silver screen in a film entitled For the One, referring - of course - to God. The documentary follows the pair on their joint Summer Worship Nights concert tour, which wraps tomorrow in Hawaii, and promises in a press release to feature highlights of "their dynamic live performances" and "the deeper stories behind their songs."

Wickham, known for hits like Living Hope and This is Amazing Grace, never imagined he would be telling his story in movie theaters, but hopes to "show everyone watching how much they are loved by the ONE." Lake, whose new hit Count 'Em is among the most popular songs currently on Christian radio, adds that through their music and this tour "countless lives have been changed, especially ours," and that their "focus remains FOR THE ONE."

The documentary will be a limited release, running only from October 27th - 29th. You will be able to follow developments and - at a later date - purchase tickets to a theater in your area via this link to the website of distributor Fathom Events. In the meantime, the trailer below should give you a better sense of what to expect.
