A Solid Start for "Indivisible"

Updated: Oct 30, 2018

The Christian film finishes its opening weekend just outside the Top 10 at the box office.

According to Box Office Mojo, the David Evans-directed picture brought in $1.5 million over the weekend. That's good enough for 13th place overall. With a production budget of just $2.3 million, the film is well on its way to covering its cost.

Indivisible tells the true story of US Army Chaplain Darren Turner and his wife Heather and their fight to save their marriage after he returns from the Iraq War. Justin Bruening and Sarah Drew star as the couple and turn in strong performances. Christian Film Blog rated Indivisible 8.5 out of 10 and recommends you go see it.

Several other Christian films are still in theaters: Unbroken: Path to Redemption brought in $4,500, God Bless the Broken Road did $2,400 and Beautifully Broken made just under $2,000. All of them are nearing the end of their theatrical runs, so numbers are naturally quite small.
