The made-for-TV picture features Christian actress Candace Cameron Bure in a behind-the-camera capacity.
Great American Family channel continues to prominently feature Christian fare in its programming, with Just in Time being the latest example. The movie, which airs next week, stars Christian actress Laura Osnes and is executive produced by Candace Cameron Bure, the network's Chief Content Officer...she is also its on-screen headliner but does not have a part in the cast of this one.
In the movie, Osnes' character and her husband, desperate to have a baby, begin to question whether they are doing the right thing, or are even meant to be together at all. With the help of a stranger, however, the heroine eventually realizes that "the answers to all she seeks will be revealed in God's time," as a synopsis puts it.
The lead actress, in a promotional clip, labels it "a true redemption story," stating the movie illustrates that "even in the most hopeless situations, God can show up and turn it into something beautiful." Bure, also promoting the film, called it "faith forward," adding that she is "living (her) dream of making family and faith centered movies."
"It's always been the most important thing personally to me - my faith in Jesus - and now I'm at the point in my life where I want to share that with everyone. And I do in my personal life, but I want to share that through my filmmaking as well."
Just in Time premieres on Great American Family Tuesday, March 26th at 8:00 PM EDT and 7:00 PM CDT. In the meantime, the trailer below will give you a better feel for what you can expect.
