The "Black Panther" star leads the way for all actors in terms of revenue earned by their movies.
According to a list compiled by Fandango, Letitia Wright helped generate $1.55 billion - yes, that's billion with a "b" - when you sum up the box office take from the four films she appeared in last year: Avengers: Infinity War, Black Panther, The Commuter and Ready Player One.
Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War were the top two grossing films in 2018, which certainly helped her cause. But it is quite an impressive performance, nevertheless, particularly in light of the rest of names on the list that she outshone: Chadwick Boseman and several other fellow Marvel co-stars, Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Pratt and Josh Brolin.
Wright said on her Twitter account that she "can't even put into words her gratitude" for everything that happened in 2018. The 25 year old British actress was, however, very clear about the source of her success, adding, "God opened a floodgate of blessings! I'm in awe!" and driving home the point by quoting from the Old Testament book of Malachi.
