Franklin Graham reaches out to social media followers on behalf of his friend Tim Tebow, the movie's executive producer.
Franklin Graham, eldest son of the late evangelist Billy Graham, heads up both Samaritan's Purse, a Christian relief outfit, and his father's organization, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. As such, he has tremendous influence among believers, commanding a following of 7.4 million on Facebook alone.
Graham recently took to that outlet, Instagram and others to get out the word about Run the Race.

Tim Tebow, a former NFL quarterback, is currently playing professional baseball in the New York Mets' minor league system and may well be the most prominent Christian athlete in America. While this is his first foray into the movie business in an executive capacity, he and Graham share a longstanding and strong commitment to spreading the Gospel, as Graham makes clear in his social media post.
"The message every human being—young or old—needs to hear is that God loves you and wants a relationship with you through His Son, Jesus Christ. This film focuses on sharing that truth with new audiences."
Run the Race stars Tanner Stine and Evan Hofer as brothers who use their athletic ability to overcome difficult circumstances. Mykelti Williamson, Francis Fisher and Mario van Peebles play supporting roles in this Chris Dowling-directed picture, which is due to hit the big screen February 22nd.
