That comes despite dropping half its theaters from a week ago.

North American ticket sales for The Last Rodeo topped $600,000 from Friday through Sunday, according to The Numbers website, putting the faith-based picture in 13th place overall at the box office. That is surprisingly down just one spot from the previous weekend, when the movie was available in 1,235 venues versus 617 this past weekend.

Starring Neal McDonough as a bull rider who comes out of retirement in hopes of winning enough rodeo prize money to care for his ailing grandson, the film has now earned $14.2 million through 24 days in theaters. It topped out at more than 2,200 locations when it first released last month, so it is clearly nearing the end of its theatrical run, meaning its total box-office haul will not go much higher.
