The faith-based film still manages to top the one-million-dollar mark in its third weekend in release.

The Last Rodeo shed nearly 40% of its theaters from last weekend to this, which in part led to a more than a 50% drop in its revenue over the same period: $1 million now versus $2.1 million from a week earlier, according to The Numbers website. The film came in 13th place at the box office from Friday through Sunday, down from ninth the previous weekend.

Starring Christian actor Neal McDonough, it tells the story of a retired rodeo cowboy who goes back into the arena in order to win enough prize money to help his ailing grandson. Now available in 1,235 venues in North America, the picture has so far generated just shy of $13 million in ticket revenue through 17 days in release.
