The faith-based animated feature has now managed the feat each weekend since it released last month.

The King of Kings is four-for-four in the weekend Top-10, this time around claiming seventh place from Friday through Sunday after bringing in North-American ticket revenue of $1.7 million, according to The Numbers website. That figure is a nearly 60% drop from the previous weekend, when it came in one spot higher, and is at least partially due to the fact that the film's theater count fell from more than 3,000 venues to 2,035 over the same period.

The movie tells the story of the life of Jesus and is based on the Charles Dickens' work The Life of Our Lord, which was published in 1934, more than six decades after the great English author's death. This production, which features voice-over performances from big stars like Kenneth Branagh, Uma Thurman, and Forest Whitaker, has now generated $57.7 million in domestic ticket revenue through 24 days in release, making it a high-level performer in the Christian genre.
