With a Hollywood acting career dating back to his time on the hit TV series Growing Pains in the 80s, Cameron has seen a lot. And his switch to playing roles in line with his own Christian faith certainly provided some challenges.
Cameron acknowledged in an interview with PureFlix.com that there are risks to being open and honest about your faith in a politically correct environment like Hollywood. But the toughest challenge for him is something bigger and more fundamental than that.
"I think the hardest lesson is really no different in Hollywood than [anywhere else]. I think it’s the lesson that, apart from God, I really can do nothing."
