This will be the first movie from the Erwin Brothers' Kingdom Studios and they land two big-name actors.
Fresh off the launch of their new studio in partnership with Lionsgate, the brother team of Andrew Erwin and Jon Erwin have their lead actors for I Still Believe. Riverdale star KJ Apa will play the role of Christian musician Jeremy Camp in this biopic, and Hollywood veteran Gary Sinise has claimed the part of his father.
The Erwins are the filmmakers behind last year's hit faith-based film I Can Only Imagine, another biopic about a Christian rocker, Bart Millard. That picture grossed $85 million at the box office and has brought in $22 million more in DVD and Blu-ray sales.
Production is expected to start on I Still Believe this spring and the Christian film is scheduled for release on March 20, 2020.
