Having topped $5 million in ticket revenue since it released on April 2nd, Someone Like You has earned seven more days in theaters, which is its second extension. Originally scheduled to run just 10 days, the faith-based picture will now go for 24 days total, assuming it does not have its theatrical release prolonged yet again.

Based on a book by the same name from author Karen Kingsbury, this movie is the inaugural endeavor from her production company. It stars Sarah Fisher and Jake Allyn and tells a story of a man who loses his best friend to an early death, only to find - and fall in love with - her previously unknown twin sister.

Kingsbury invested her own money to make this picture and is, not surprisingly, pleased that it is performing so well. She took to social media to thank her followers for helping to make it happen.

"Yay!!! Thank you for telling your friends and family and showing my movie SO MUCH L❤️VE! My heart is just bursting!"

Someone Like You is now set to play in theaters through April 25th and you can buy tickets to a venue in your area via this link to the website of distributor Fathom Events.
