The hit show about the life of Christ turns in a strong performance in its second weekend in theaters.
After claiming the third spot overall at the box office in its debut weekend, The Chosen Season 3: Episodes 1 & 2 followed that up by landing in 10th place in its sophomore weekend. It did so by bringing in almost $1.6 million from Friday through Sunday, according to Box Office Mojo, taking its total haul so far to $13.4 million.
These two episodes are playing in theaters in a limited release that runs into early next month before they will roll out on the normal streaming platforms of The Chosen along with the remaining six episodes of the third season.
