The King of Kings delivered nearly $780,000 in ticket revenue from Friday through Sunday, according to The Numbers website, putting it in tenth place overall. That makes it five consecutive weekend Top-10 finishes for the film since it released a month ago.

Based on a Charles Dickens book called The Life of Our Lord, the animated production features the author telling his young son the story of Jesus' earthly ministry before the boy's bedtime. The movie - from Korean filmmaker Seong Ho Jang - has generated $59 million in North America through 31 days in release, putting it in the all-time Top-10 in the Christian genre; when you add in its overseas revenue, the film's total theatrical haul climbs to $64.9 million thus far.
