Updated: Feb 27, 2021

The Christian actress hopes it will help bring people "one step closer to Jesus."

Not only is Candace Cameron Bure a big star on the Hallmark Channel, she is also a devout Believer who misses virtually no opportunity to use her fame to share her faith. In fact, it seems to us that she may well be the most outspoken Christian in Hollywood.

She is also a best-selling author, having published numerous books for both adults and children, as we have previously reported. The former star of Fuller House has several devotionals to her credit too, so it should come as no surprise that she is now putting out a devotional Bible.

The mother of three adult children - we wonder where she finds the time for everything - once again has teamed up with the Christian gift card and book company DaySpring to publish what they have entitled the One Step Closer Bible.

In a social media video post accompanying today's publication, Cameron Bure says there's nothing she cherishes more than God's Word, adding she feels "blessed to be able to share this."

"My prayer is that this Bible will simply bring you one step closer to Jesus every day - knowing more of who He is, and who you are through Him."

This edition comes in the New Living Translation and features red letters for the words of Christ, three built-in ribbon bookmarks, and a page tab for each of the 66 books of the Bible. Cameron Bure also wrote an eight-page introduction that includes answers to questions frequently posed to Christians about the Faith.

The One Step Closer Bible costs $64.99 and is available now from DaySpring via this link to their website.

UPDATE - Feb. 16, 2021: As you can see in the accompanying image, on its first day on sale at Amazon, this devotional Bible shot to number one among books in the "Christian Faith" category, number two in the "Christian Bibles" category and number four in "Christian Bible Study Guides." It also sold out and is currently out of stock at the online retailing giant. That news prompted Cameron Bure to say in a new social media post that she is "excited that so many of you want to read God's Word, dig deeper and know His truth." Hear, Hear! And Praise God!
