The Hollywood star and committed Believer points his massive social media following to the Savior on Easter.
Chris Pratt regularly uses his fame to share his faith in Christ, and this past Resurrection Sunday was no different. The nearly 46 million Instagram followers of the star of the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise were the latest beneficiaries of his message of Gospel hope.
The post features a picture of the 44-year-old father of three standing in front of a cross with two other men, and it has a hashtag of "HappyEaster" and the words "HE IS RISEN!" in all capital letters.
The brief message that accompanies it shares a word of Pratt's personal testimony and some encouragement to others, stating, "He transformed my life. He can transform yours as well. I promise you. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life." That last part, of course repeats Christ's own words about Himself from the famous Scripture in John 14:6.
Pratt's social media post - as of this writing - had garnered more than 685,000 likes and 7,500 comments from Instagram users, including one that stated the actor - who is currently in production on Amazon Prime Video's The Terminal List: Dark Wolf - was "standing with God and not the evil of Hollywood."
