A limited release of just eight days did not hurt The Journey: A Music Special from Andrea Bocelli at the box office. The film from Trinity Broadcasting Network earned $506,000 over the weekend, which put it in 11th place overall, according to Box Office Mojo. That brings its total ticket revenue to an impressive $3.5 million.

The picture follows Italian singer Andrea Bocelli on a horseback journey along the famed Via Francigena in his native land, with musical performances at various points during the journey. Joining the tenor were Christian musicians like Michael W. Smith, Tori Kelly and Tauren Wells, and the production even featured an appearance from Pope Francis.

Originally scheduled as a four-day engagement, strong advance ticket sales prompted distributor Fathom Events to double the theatrical run, which concluded on Easter Sunday.
