A Top-20 Finish at the Box Office for "Family Camp"

Nearing the end of its theatrical run, the faith-based comedy has landed in the Top-20 every weekend it's been in release.

Though the overall revenue haul was not large - $35,000, according to Box Office Mojo - it still enabled Family Camp to claim the 19th spot overall from Friday through Sunday. That makes it five-for-five in terms of weekend Top-20 finishes for this Christian movie, which stars the Skit Guy comedy team of Eddie James and Tommy Woodard.

The first feature from K-LOVE Films - part of the same company as K-LOVE, the nation's largest Christian radio network - Family Camp has generated $3.88 million since it released on May 13th. That number is not likely to go much higher, however, because the picture is now playing in just 134 theaters, having topped out at 1,057 during its second week; in fact, we wouldn't be surprised if the movie wraps up its theatrical run before this coming weekend.
