Another strong showing from The Chosen in theaters from Friday through Sunday, with episodes one through three of Season 4 bringing in $2.7 million, according to The Numbers website. That puts it in sixth place overall, down four spots from its inaugural weekend.

The production from Christian director Dallas Jenkins, which stars American actor Jonathan Roumie as the Jesus character, is running behind Season 3's theatrical release, which featured episodes one and two and came out in the fall of 2022; Season 4's first installment has now generated nearly $12.2 million in ticket revenue versus $14.6 for Season 3 at this same stage. These three episodes of Season 4 still have a few days to go, however, running through this coming Wednesday, February 14th.

The remaining five episodes of the season will also release in theaters - in two installments - with episodes four through six rolling out on Thursday, February 15th, followed by the final two episodes on February 29th. You can purchase tickets to a theater in your area via this link to the website of distributor Fathom Events.
