Joanna Gaines and her husband, Chip Gaines, are launching their new Magnolia Network in 2021 as a venture with Discovery. In fact, it will displace that latter outfit's DIY Channel when it finally debuts at a date still to be announced. But one of the new network's programs is getting a head start.

Magnolia Table with Joanna Gaines airs for the first time next week on Discovery's streaming platform, Discovery +, which is also new! The program will run January 4th and feature Gaines whipping up "some of her family's favorite recipes" and sharing their traditions as well. It'll be one of two Magnolia Network shows featuring Joanna, who, together with Chip, will also reboot the program that launched them to fame: Fixer Upper.

As to this cooking show, a video promotion would seem to indicate that there will be plenty of the self-deprecating humor that helped endear Joanna to her loyal fans over the years. At one point in the clip, she drops a lemon she's trying to grate, looks right at the camera and says, "Oops," and adds in another spot that, "If your kitchen is not messy, you're not having fun."

If you'd like to sign up for Discovery +, which starts at $4.99 per month, you can do so via this link to their website. And you can check out the aforementioned promo for Magnolia Table with Joanna Gaines on the channel's Instagram page here. Christian Film Blog will keep you up to date on developments related to Magnolia Network, including when it will launch, as information becomes available.
