A First Glimpse of "Unplanned"

The pro-life Christian film puts out its trailer - and it is powerful.

Unplanned tells the story of Abby Johnson, a former abortion clinic director-turned-pro-life advocate, and it is scheduled for release at the end of March. Written and directed by Chuck Konzelman and Cary Solomon, the team behind God's Not Dead, the movie stars Ashley Bratcher and Robia Scott.

Unplanned's website says the picture is "the inspiring true story of one woman's journey of transformation." Abortion is, however, one of the most contentious issues in American politics and the pro-abortion lobby among the most powerful. So much so that the filmmakers felt the need to shoot this movie in secret to avoid problems with extremists.

In an interview with Fox News, Bratcher says that this film isn't about "about judgement and condemnation. It's about mercy and forgiveness." But as you will see in the trailer, Unplanned is emotionally charged and exposes abortion for the violent, life-ending act that it is. That makes it hard to imagine many in the pro-abortion camp will agree with her take when this movie is released on March 29th.
